"LOUDEN GENERAL CATALOG No. 49"
THE LOUDEN MACHINERY COMPANY
Fairfield, Iowa, 1919.
The Louden Company dates back to 1867 when William Louden made a patent on a hay carrier hence starting a revolution in the agricultural products line. The company also inspired a new type of barn, enabling farmers to build a bigger barn that held more equipment instead of a smaller barn so that hay could be bailed out of the top. By the time William Louden had died in 1931 it was estimated
that Louden Machinery had designed almost 25,000 barns around the world.
This useful reference catalog contains complete descriptions & illustrations of numerous agricultural and dairy items including:
Hay Unloading Tools
Barn and Garage Door Hangers
Dairy Barn Equipment
Litter, Feed, Merchandise, and Milk Can Carriers
Cupolas, Ventilators, Drains, etc.
Hardware Specialties &
"EVERYTHING FOR THE BARN."
Most pages are illustrated.
