6 ½ x 7 ¾” printed document from Pittsylvania County, Virginia. "These are to license and permit you to join together in the holy state of Matrimony according to the rites and Ceremonies of your Church, JAMES BURNETT and HANNAH BURNETT of Pittsylvania County, and for so doing this shall be your sufficient Warrant." Filled out by clerk of the court Tunstall on 30 November 1831. Fine condition on paper of great rag content. Nice decorative printed border.
