Sixth-plate (2 3/4" x 3 1/4") daguerreotype IN
ORIGINAL SEALS & signed “Anson 589 Broadway, NY” both on its velvet
case-mat and stamped in the brass mat around the photograph. Slight ring of tarnish around image, but most
spots visible in scan appear to be on glass.
Slight blue tinting on table cloth.
Sitter appears to have either cross eyes or a serious “lazy” eye. Image is in FULL leather case with fancy
clasp. Case is in quite good condition,
but with an old leather repair to hinge.
