OLD c1920 PHOTO BLACK CHILDREN PLAYING IN SCHOOL YARD

RARE SUBJECT MATTER in this old c1920 unmounted photograph (large 7.5 x 9.5” size) showing FOURTEEN black, mixed race, and possibly some white children playing a Ring-Around-the-Rosy-type circle game with their African-American teacher. Cute little girl with pigtails stands in the center of the circle, holding her dress up in a curtsey-like manner. This photograph has a 1” tear in center of the top edge & 3 of the four corners are chipped / torn-off (see scan). Otherwise it is in good condition and has excellent contrast & clarity. Details of chain link fences & the back of brick (school?) buildings are clearly visible in the background of the photo.
