GREAT OLD 1909 AFRICAN AMERICAN NURSE POSTCARD
Old postcard mailed in 1909 by an African American nurse “Aunt Mamie” to her young charge “Master Boyden Adams.” Appears to have been mailed from Tarboro, NC (see scan of postmark to judge). Message on reverse is “Bless my boy.” Front of card is a generic view of a black southern “MAMMY.” Good condition as shown in scans of front and back. Any “pattern” visible in the scan of this card is not on the original card,
