CDV OF LITTLE BOY WITH BREWSTER STEREOSCOPE, PIPE, & VIOLIN/FIDDLE

TWO CDV PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE SAME BOY!

The first is a Carte de Visite photo (2 ½" x 4") of A VERY LITTLE BOY WITH A CLAY PIPE IN HIS MOUTH AND STANDING NEXT TO A BREWSTER-STYLE STEREOSCOPE AND A MINIATURE VIOLIN/FIDDLE. Quite an unusual photo. No backmark or photographer's ID on the photo. The image appears to date from the 1870s or early 1880s. The lad moved slightly in the photo. There is one scrape on the emulsion running from his knee to the fiddle. Otherwise the image is in good condition.

The second cdv has the same yellow cardboard mount and was probably taken at the same session at the photographer's. It shows the same little chap with his hat placed on the side of his head and holding the same little fiddle / violin. He stands with two well dressed women and a little girl (his sister?). He also has the same clay pipe stuck in his mouth. A bit light in contrast but otherwise good condition.

Price= $95.00 for TWO photographs
