SHIP POSTCARDS BATTLESHIP PTBOAT 1 REAL PHOTO
FOUR old Naval postcards of various ships as follows:
--REAL PHOTO POSTCARD of a naval warship c1908 tied up to a dock. Appears to be cranes, ladders, etc aboard. Postmarked Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, so perhaps this is a view in the Navy yards. Wear, missing corner, small tears around edges. See scan.
“U.S.S. RAVEN, MINESWEEPER” Mailed in 1942 from an Apprentice Seaman in the US Navy. Good condition.
“BATTLESHIP U.S.S. MISSOURI & IN THE COOK’S GALLERY” 1910, pretty worn condition (see scan).
“PATROL TORPEDO BOAT OF THE NAVY’S MOSQUITO FLEET” Mailed in 1942 from an Apprentice Seaman in the US Navy. Good condition.
Scan shows front and back of cards.
(Scanning sometimes causes the printing dots of lithographic postcards to look weird, but the effect is NOT in the original card.)
