1941 GREYHOUND BUS LINES FOLDOUT DEFENSE MAP OF AMERICA
NICE, QUITE ATTRACTIVE old illustrated map (18 x 24” unfolded) showing many of the US Army & Navy BASES, FORTS AND CAMPS and their locations across the United States of America. The map folds up to 4 x 9” with red, white, & blue covers showing a soldier & sailor, etc. The back of the unfolded map has lots of information including some advertising for Greyhound Bus Lines, their services to members of the Armed Services and their visitors, and illustrations of insignia for the US Army, Navy, & Marine Corps.
There are a few small scrapes on the front cover of the folded map, and some old tape on the back covers (see scan). Otherwise this attractive map is in quite good condition. This is a LARGE map so only parts can be shown in the scans below.
