NORFOLK & WESTERN RY 1958 UVA - VA TECH FOOTBALL LETTER
Typescript copy (8.5 x ll”) of a letter from Sydney F. Small, Vice President of the Norfolk and Western Railway Company to Staunton, VA attorney George M. Cochran, offering him complementary tickets to the HARVEST BOWL FOOTBALL GAME between the UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA and VIRGINIA TECH (VPI).
ALSO included is the original typed letter from Attorney Cochran’s office explaining that since he was traveling in Europe, he would not have use for the tickets. Circular N&W RY Company date stamp in the upper right corner. Punch hole in upper left corner, otherwise good condition.
