Interesting oval snapshot photograph 4 x 6” c1910 of 7 young women, two of whom wear distinctive YWCA (Young Women’s Christian Association) ARMBANDS. Founded in 1855, in England, the YWCA today is the oldest and largest multicultural women's organization in the world with more than 25 million members in 122 countries, including 2.6 million members and participants in 300 local associations in the United States.
Photo has a somewhat silvery sheen in the darker sections, but is otherwise in good condition as shown in scan of front, back, and enlarged detail.
