FOUR scarce cards from Staples, Minnesota as follows:
--REAL PHOTO POSTCARD (RPPC) view showing the N. P. Stockyards. Written on reverse is “This is the East end of the yards. The big building with the windows is the hotel. The one with the big door open is the hay shed. It is 500 feet long. The tank is used for the yards alone.”
--HOTEL NATIONAL, STAPLES, MINN. Not mailed, but message written on reverse about attending a dance at this hotel the night before.
--COME AND ANCHOR AT STAPLES, MINN. Golden metal anchor attached to postcard. Letters are written in gold glitter.
--THIS IS THE KEY TO OUR CITY. Not mailed but message written on reverse.
Several of the cards are addressed to Miss Lucy Morton, Eggleston, Virginia.
