1928 AL SMITH ENAMELED POLITICAL PINS ON ORIGINAL STORE CARDS
A SCARCE SET OF THREE nice authentic 1928 AL SMITH OUR NEXT PRESIDENT brass and colorful enameled pins, each just �� x ��. This is a complete set of these pins: one with a WHITE enamel, one with a RED enamel & one with a BLUE enamel background.
ALL 3 are still mounted on their original 2 x 2 �� store cards, with decorative border & �AL SMITH OUR NEXT PRESIDENT.�
Part of the brass letters on several of the pins have oxidized a bit, but o/w they are in good condition on their original store cards. Scan below shows front & back of the storecards with enlarged views.
Smith ran unsuccessfully for President against Herbert Hoover in the election of 1928. Rather hard to find ALL THREE COLORS of these pins, Red, White & Blue.
